Mundaka Upanishad

Sous l'enveloppe la plus élevée, dorée et radieuse, ceux qui connaissent l'âme reconnaissent Brahmâ qui est sans lieu, sans partie, qui est pur, qui est la lumière des lumières.

Le soleil ne se manifeste pas ici, ni la lune et les étoiles; les éclairs ne se manifestent pas; comment donc ce feu se manifesterait-il? Quand il se manifeste, tout est manifesté après lui; ce monde entier devient manifeste par sa manifestation.

In the highest golden sheath is the Godhead,
Unsullied, indivisible;
pure it is,
The Light of lights.
He who knows the Self knows it.

Neither sun nor moon nor stars shine there.
With the radiance of that Light alone all things shine.
That radiance illumines all this world.
